CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Ceramic is often under-estimated for it's strength and durability. Buying an artisinal ceramic product is a life-long investment. They're fired to a higher temperature than industry-made ceramic and the products made at ceramic-clusters. They're more expensive for many reasons, one of them being the special love and care they receive in their quality.

Functional Ware

We only use non-hazardous glazes. Our primary focus is ease of function such that all our decorative ware is also functional for use. Unless mentioned otherwise, all our products can withstand heat - dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe.

Goltu Rounded Vase 
FORM-
Being the first of the Goltu vases series, it won our hearts, as it offers an expansive surface for the chosen carving pattern to flourish and mesmerize.
Allowing me to practice hand-building with finesse, it involved attaching 2 hemispheres in a seamless manner to allow for a complex pattern. Amoung a series of 4 goltu vases, this one is a small size in a bright Teal.
PATTERN- 
Composed of simple elements life flowers, stems and leaves, this pattern is a non-repeating entaglement of simple elements carved in Positive space. Each element is further treated with finer carving performed with a smaller tool. The final step in creating the pattern is the scratching out of the negative space to reveal a pristine milky porcelain white.
